Release over-consumption for good
Join us for a 4 week journey 'unplugging from the Fast Fashion system at large'. We will be gathering as a community in my Facebook Group to stop buying Clothing.
We know that on average we only wear 20% of our overall collection of clothing and we all have many sneaky habits when it comes to purchasing more items..
“Consumers throw away shoes and clothing [versus recycle], an average of 70 pounds per person, annually.
A few communities have textile recycling programs, about 85% of this waste goes to landfills where it occupies about 5% of landfill space and the amount is growing.
Up to 95% of the textiles that are land filled each year could be recycled.” -edgeexpo,com
The mantra ‘only buy what you love’ rings true however when we are bombarded by an industry that dictates to us a new season every week we sometimes lose the battle of being good. Our thoughts of sustainability go out the window! New trends and coveted new styles are offered regularly and we can simply go weak at the knees when confronted with amount of choice for fresh new designs.
In this container Each week you will receive:
inspiration to release the habitual ways and reasons why you buy Clothes - optional journal practises and live discussions
Support from other members in our community as we go through it together
Adoption of New patterns that will change the way you look at your wardrobe Forever!
